The Beginners' League:

Priority is given to graduates of the Learn to Curl program, therefore the League begins at the first opportunity following completion of the instruction program and running weekly to the end of the curling season. In the 2021-2022, there will be two draws, or start times, for the Beginners' League:

1) Wednesday night beginning at 7:00 pm and

2) Sunday afternoon beginning at 3:00pm.

If space is available, past participants of the Learn to Curl program, with less than three years experience, may also register in the Beginners' League. Experienced volunteers will be assigned by the convenors to skip teams and skips will change each week. This enables new curlers to implement the skills learned and practice additional shots, enjoy friendly competition, and meet other WNCC members from various leagues. Friends or partners can be placed on the same sheet upon request. Post-game relaxation with beverages in the lounge allows registrants to network and learn more about the Club, while sitting with their team and the opposition. Each week you'll meet new people. The season finishes with a Bonspiel and social event.

• Sign Up: Sign up as an individual. Teams are made up by the league convenors with different team members each game..Registration information will be available during your instruction program.
• Scoring: 6-end games. Win/Loss/Tie or Default scoring.
